What we collect

ToolFaultFinder is a static website. We do not use accounts, tracking cookies, or third-party analytics by default. The site's search runs entirely in your browser — your search queries never leave your device.

Contact form

If you use the contact form, the details you submit (name, email address, message) are processed by Netlify Forms, our hosting provider's form-handling service, and delivered to us by email. We use this information only to reply to you. See Netlify's privacy policy for how they handle form submissions.

Comments

Comments submitted on fault entries are processed by Netlify Forms and reviewed by a human before publishing. If your comment is published, the name you provided appears with it; your email address (if given) is never published and is used only if we need to reply. To have a published comment removed, contact us.

Server logs

Our hosting provider (Netlify) may collect standard server logs, including IP addresses, for security and operational purposes. We do not access or use these for tracking.

Changes

If this policy changes — for example, if we add analytics — we'll update this page and the date above.
